H&R Block’s Social Media Masterpiece

I have to give credit where credit is due, especially if it’s a hometown, Kansas City company. The article H&R Block Gets Big Buzz through Social Media for Digital Products: How to Test and Pick Channels, published on MarketingSherpa, discusses the H&R Block social marketing strategy to generate awareness for their new digital products. It is simply a masterpiece. So many personal conversations in so many different social channels, all driving brand/product awareness on an individualized level. That is the power of Social Media marketing.
Because social media has a short(er) shelf life, companies can try/test different ideas and strategies to see what makes the greatest impact without having to wait too long for results. Now’s the time for other companies to try it - stick a toe in with a small investment to see how it can impact business - in a time when results are needed now more than ever.
