This is a historic day in our history. Barack Obama is the 44th President of the United States of America. His election campaign taught us a tremendous amount about how to build our future. Fund raising, campaigning, and grass roots community building will never be the same.
More than campaigning or electing our next leader, we learned how to invest in our future. The connection between investment and philanthropy could not be clearer.
- Small contributions on a regular basis can be more effective than waiting for the big watershed contribution.
- Targeting dreams is a more powerful motivator than targeting monetary goals.
- Sharing dreams creates common goals and builds a community effort.
